From September 2012 there will be a new Under 5’s team, which is for children who will be joining Reception Class in September 2012.

There will be weekly coaching from our F.A. Qualified and CRB checked coaches. The coaches will take your Son or Daughter through fun based skill sessions with mini games at the end. If you would like to put your name on our waiting list please contact registrations@jbjfc.org.uk

Stuart and his squad enjoyed much success during those years. Stuart also served on the Sports Club for a time, and also coached a Crowborough and District inter League side. In the last decade he managed both under 18 and senior teams at Crowborough Athletic.

Stuart was a very important part of our club and will be sadly missed.

We currently have a Committee vacancy for a Treasurer.

Individual roles vary within the Committee and you would be fully briefed on what your role entails.

The amount of involvement can vary throughout the year and approximately once a month, usually the 3rd Thursday from 8pm the Committee hold a meeting at Palesgate Lane.

A benefit of being a Committee member is that you receive 1 child registration fee free per year.

The School he attended have formed a trust that does a lot of charity work to raise awareness of the condition and does a tremendous amount of work with Oliver’s family and they would like to generate support from the grassroots football community.

The trust has launched an e-petition on their website. The e-petition has been created asking government to take a larger role in ensuring that defibrillators are placed in every school and sports hall throughout the country by 2017 and for them to make ECG screening easily available to those youngsters that may be affected by SADs.

To push this through to be discussed at the House of Commons the petition needs 100,000 signatures.

We would also recommend car/lift sharing where possible to eliminate the number of cars travelling to the ground.

There have been recent incidents where cars have been stuck trying to pass each other and also people have had to use residents driveways.
